What it does

How it works

When to use it

Works best when the subject is clearly separated from the background. Very busy scenes, hair against a same-colour wall and transparent objects can leave soft edges.

What file do I get?
A PNG with an alpha channel at the size of your upload, with the long edge capped at 1600 pixels.
Do you keep my photo?
The upload is sent to our AI provider for this one request and is not stored. The finished PNG is stored on our media host so the download link works.
Why are the edges imperfect?
Automatic cutouts struggle with fine hair, motion blur and subjects that match the background colour. A sharper photo with more contrast usually helps.
